The company UNIMONT - VMS, s.r.o. is a dynamically developing machine engineering company founded in 2002. The main activities of the company include machine engineering as well as assembly, welding and maintenance work in the metallurgical and mining industries. Manufacturing of steel structures, machine engineering products as well as maintenance of metallurgical and mining units is a precise work that requires high-quality teams of experts, which the company has available.
UNIMONT - VMS, s.r.o. also carries out metal machining and surface treatment before their further use in various industries. Surface treatment of metals by blasting, powder coating as well as wet painting is a matter of course. In cooperation, the company provides galvanizing as well as hot-dip galvanizing.
UNIMONT - VMS, s.r.o. distributes its services and products to the machine engineering, metallurgical, mining, energy and construction industries.
UNIMONT - VMS, s.r.o. is mainly engaged in the production of steel parts and steel structures of non-alloy steels, including machining and painting with a weight of 40 tons per product.

UNIMONT - VMS, s.r.o. was established on February 4, 2002 with the intention of using its locksmith and welding potential in the field of machine engineering in our district, region and surrounding states of the European Union. The company has the abbreviation VMS in its name, which means "Production - Assembly - Service", i.e. the abbreviated form of the content of a wide range of activities.
The tradition of machine engineering of UNIMONT - VMS dates back to the 70s of the 20th century, when it worked under the name Agrostav š.p. Vranov nad Topľou. In the late 1980s, the company began to expand the potential of its machine engineering production towards metallurgy in the area of repairs and maintenance of production units, mainly to the former VSŽ Košice.
In the early 1990s, the company underwent a transformation and restructuring process. The year 1997 represented the next phase of the transformation process of the company, which presented its production and assembly program under the name UNIMONT until 2002, when a new company UNIMONT - VMS, s.r.o. was established.
The company's production activities are mainly focused on the following areas: locksmith and welding work, metal production, production of steel structures for construction, production of industrial steel structures, production of tanks, reservoirs, liquid tanks and containers and other products in the above mentioned sector. As for the assembly activity, as it has already been mentioned, it is mainly focused on the metallurgical, machine engineering and construction industries. The company specializes mainly in locksmith and welding work, maintenance and assembly work, which is carried out comprehensively from the technical design, through the preparation and completion of an order, to the handover of the construction to the customer.
